By accessing or using FTools at ftools.io, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

FTools provides free online utilities for everyday tasks (for example file conversion helpers and media link tools). Features may change, pause, or be removed at any time without notice.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use FTools for anything illegal or to violate others' rights
• Abuse download tools to obtain content you are not authorized to access (private, paid, copyrighted without permission, or login-walled material)
• Attempt to overload, scrape abusively, bypass rate limits, or disrupt the service
• Probe or attack infrastructure, or reverse-engineer for harmful purposes
• Misrepresent the service as affiliated with YouTube, Instagram, or other platforms

You are solely responsible for the files and URLs you process and for complying with applicable laws and third-party terms of service.

Download tools

Downloaders are convenience helpers for publicly available links when technical access allows. Success depends on upstream platforms, extractors, network conditions, and platform protections (including bot checks). We do not guarantee every URL or quality option will work.

FTools is not a circumvention service. We do not promise to bypass DRM, paywalls, geographic blocks, or authentication. Temporary server-side processing may be used to prepare a file; results expire automatically.

Intellectual property

The FTools name, site design, and original code/content belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy the brand or site for a competing service without permission.

Content you process remains yours (or its rightful owner's). Using a tool does not transfer ownership of that content to us.

Third-party platforms

Mentions of YouTube, Instagram, or other brands are for identifying supported public link types only. FTools is independent and not endorsed by those companies. Their trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FTools and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (if any), or (b) zero if the service is free.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless FTools and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms or third-party rights.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. We may suspend or restrict access for abuse or legal risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the FTools operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
